Flannel City Face-Off

Duluth Trading Co. makes tough clothing for tough people. They asked us to promote their flannel line in the fall in the most Duluth way possible. So, we created the Flannel City Face-Off, which pitted the most tough-as-nail towns in the country against one another. Whoever got the most votes could wave the flannel flag of victory. We created a GIF for each town that captured its heart, soul and scent. Here are some of them. The bracket is below that. And more Duluth Trading Co. work below that. Go to town.

Flannelytics

Flannel again. This was the flannel campaign we did the year before. Instead of asking people to find the most flannel city, we ranked the top 10 most flannel cities using real data to discover the cities and fake data to say why they ranked where they ranked. A lot of people who are way more talented than me worked on this as well. Everyone had a hand in just about anything. These are the cities I know for sure I helped on.

Kick in the Pants

We created a media kit and campaign to help people get more done. We knew from personal experience that there's always that one project around the house that always gets put off and put off and put off. We knew others had those lying around the house, too. So we created the Kick in the Pants program. Basically, we asked people to share what projects they had procrastinated, chose the best ones, then sent them a kit to get the job done. We also created Father's Day cards that accompanied some boxes.
